March 2015 Utdanning The Art of Preventing ESL (link) This article was published in Utdanning nr. 6/2015 on March, 20, and is based on an interview with Aksel Røsand and Britt-Mona Vang, members of the coordinator group in RECIPE.Utdanning has a circulation of 15.241 copies (per. June 2014)The Municipality of Karmøy has a defined target that 80% of its young people will complete upper secondary/vocational education passing all necessary exams. To identify and evaluate a wide range of relevant strategies for regional educational centres’ support in this matter, Karmøy is part of the EU-funded LLP-project RECIPE, exchanging experience and ideas with partners from four other European countries. Through participating in RECIPE one aims to identify and address what is vital to develop to reduce the number of young people dropping out from school mentally and/or physically.

The article refers to aims and products in the project and also relates to specific initiatives tried out in Karmøy.
